Hi,
I formatted my laptop, installed the video card and chipset drivers and I
could choose Aero. Now, all of sudden, its gone from the list. Windows Vista
is chosen as a theme then from where you choose Aero, the option is not
there. I tried several websites on how to enable it from the registry, like
for instance:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\Composition set to 1 (32-bit DWORD)
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\CompositionPolicy set to 2 (32-bit DWORD)
I tried every way I could but the aero option is gone and I cannot
understand why and how to make it available again.
My laptop specs are:
Acer Aspire 5520G
AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.0GHz
3GB Memory DDR2
nvidia geForce 8400M G 128mb
Windows Vista Ultimate
Thanks for any support in advance.
